 Musical Hybrids

Malgorzata Wnek- violinist,

 

decided to learn music and started to play violin and piano at the age of 7, because she was fascinated with the concerts at Philharmonic Hall she attended regularly since she was 4 years old. 

 

The public debut at the age of 9 on the big stage of the Pomeranian Philharmonic in her native city Bydgoszcz (Poland). 

 

She graduated from Academy of Music in Gdansk playing A. Berg violin concerto on her diploma recital and obtained a very good note. She received an Erasmus scholarship and studied at the renowned HFMT music university Hannover (Germany) and received a scholarship from the President of Gdansk City. 

 

A major impact on the music development was participation in numerous masterclasses (Sommerakademie Cervo, Aurora Chamber Music, Spaincellence Avila- among others) leaded by eminent professors (N. Y. Kim, Griffin, Rosenthal, Wegrzyn). 

 

She is interested in baroque and modern music, created and played music for theater but opera became her biggest passion. 

From 2005-2012 she worked full time in the I violin section- in the Baltic Opera and Poznan State Opera. Through this time she played about 60 opera titles and 30 ballets. 

 

She collaborated with Max Reger Tage Weiden, Junge Philharmonie Zentralschweitz, European Opera Center and London Metropolitan Symphony with whom she played in prestigious venues: London, Rome, Lucerne, Bremen, Milan, Naples…

 

In 2013 she crated «Musical Hybrids» which whom she wants to share her interests, emotions, and vision of art. 

Member of Assosiation of Polish Artists Musicians and Company Taille Unique. 

 

Her dream is to became an ambassador of the humanitarian actions through music. 

Her other passions are climbing, trapeze and street theater. She resides in France.
